There can be little doubt that one of the most talked about websites over the past year has been Twitter, the microblogging service that has everyone from geeks and business people to presidential candidates and pop stars answering the question "What are you doing?". Once again, the Chinese haven't been slow to jump on the bandwagon to provide numerous clones that provide varying levels of similarity to the original Twitter. Of course we hope that one day all these different platforms will integrate the same kind of open standards currently being adopted by the major social networks in the west.
